Beautiful urn for ashes hand-painted by artist Carlos Barrios. This urn is a rare work of art and collectable item by this renowned artist whose primary subject matter includes he human form, animals and spirits. This unique urn is an expression of Carlos' belief in the good and love in people that prevails beyond death.

Carlos Barrios, who was born in El Salvador, Central America, now lives and works in Queensland. Carlos has been a finalist in many art prizes including the Sulman Prize at the Art Gallery of NSW. He has exhibited at the Australian Museum and the Museum of Contemporary Art, and was artist in residence at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre. His 2010 solo exhibition 'Memorias, pasion y lineas' ('Memories, passion and lines') was opened by Australian artist John Olson.
